Sunday, June 9 kicks off Florida’s oldest triathlon series. The 39th annual Cool Sommer Mornings in Clermont offers a four-race series including sprint and intermediate distance triathlons, duathlons and a 5K.Athletes who compete enjoy the cool tannin waters of Lake Minneola, a somewhat rolling clockwise bike course mostly around Lake Minneola and then get to strut their stride stuff on the out-and-back South Lake Trail course. One of the many cool things about this series is that the courses remain the same for the once-a-month race dates through September so you can get an idea of how your summer fitness is progressing.Complete information of all of these festively themed family friends events is at https://sommersportsevents.com/Events/Cool-Sommer-Mornings-SeriesGood luck to all the 321 peeps racing tomorrow including: International tri (.5-mile swim, 16.4-mile bike, 10K run): Rebekah Ash, 27, Melbourne, Preston Edelstein, 71, Melbourne; Alex Krynski, 23, Viera.Sprint tri (.25-mile swim, 8.2-mile bike, 5K: Tiffany Boucher, 30, Cocoa; Douglas Boyer, 36, Cocoa; Jeremy Hermanson, 37, Titusville; Deb Stokes, 68, Melbourne; Tom Stokes, 75, Melbourne; Jamie Szafran, 39, Titusville.5K: Heather Lewis, 54, Rockledge.
